Committee Charge: 
This taskforce shall identify issues related to the mental health of students at System campuses and shall develop recommendations to better address these issues.

Task Force Members:
College faculty – 2 MSCF (at least one is requested to be a counselor)
University faculty – 2 IFO (at least one is requested to be a counselor)
College students – 2 MSCSA
University students – 2 MSUSA
University student affairs staff – 2 MSUAASF (at least one is requested to be a health service director)
College student affairs staff – 2 appointed by MnSCU
College and university administrators – 4 appointed by MnSCU
Office of the Chancellor staff – System Director for Student Life as Committee Chair, other staff and administrators with expertise in specific areas will be invited to participate.

Task Force Member Expectations:  Members are responsible for: a) communication with the constituent group the member represents, b) consideration of the interests of the system as a whole and not an individual institution or group, c) active participation in task force meetings and assignments, d) attendance at task force meetings, e) adherence to established task force processes and procedures, f) support of task force recommendations, and g) reviewing and making recommendations for revisions of the policy and development of the procedure.

Meeting times and dates:  The task force is expected to meet 4-8 times.  Subsequent meetings will be scheduled as necessary.  Travel expenses for faculty and student members will be paid by the Office of the Chancellor.  Meetings will be conducted with an option to participate through an electronic medium.

Outcomes and Target Completion Dates:  Recommendations shall be submitted to the Senior Vice Chancellor for consideration during late spring 2008.
