To determine your salary for FY08:

  1. Find your current step on the “2007-2008 Salary Schedule” (see page 7 of Article 11).
    (EXAMPLE: If your current base salary for 2006-07 is $51,555, your current step is [old] step 22.)
  2. Determine what your new step will be as it is renumbered on the 2007-08 Salary Schedule. (Old step 22 becomes new step 7.)
  3. Then, move to the next step. (Move to step 8; your salary is $52,790 for FY08.)

           
To determine your salary for FY09:

  1. Find your numeric step from the “2007-2008 Salary Schedule” (step 8) on the “2008-2009 Salary Schedule” (see page 8 of Article 11). The step increases by 2% on the 2008-2009 Salary Schedule. (Step 8 increases from $52,790 to $53,846.)
  2. Then, move two steps (to Step 10) to determine your salary at the beginning of FY09.  (Step 10 is $56,458)
  3. In January 2009, find your numeric step (step 10) on the “2008-2009 Final Salary Schedule” (see page 9 of Article 11). The step you are on has increased by 2%. (Your salary at Step 10 is now $57,587.)
