Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 27.

The IFO will be focused heavily on three major issues during the 2020 session: final ratification of the IFO contract, supplemental campus funding, and campus infrastructure investments.

At each stage of the case, we have proven to the courts that the IFO strengthens the faculty’s democratic rights to associate together freely and to speak collectively.

Award honors and recognizes the outstanding contributions of an IFO member toward the advancement of equity and inclusion within the IFO.

The award honors James Eric Chalgren (1951-2000), who as a graduate student founded the LGBT Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1977, one of the first university centers in the nation to serve LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty.

The purpose of this group is to support and organize faculty of color faculty statewide, to mobilize our collective voices to improve the working conditions for faculty of color at MN State universities.
