IFO Accepting Applications for Equity and Inclusion Coordinator

The Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) invites applications from its equity caucus members for the position of statewide Equity & Inclusion (E&I) Coordinator. The E&I Coordinator will report to the IFO Board and advise the IFO Board, President and staff on E&I related matters. The selected candidate will begin their two-year term on the first duty day (August 18) of Fall 2020 and will have full release time (24 credits @12 credits/semester) from their teaching responsibilities. IFO members that are currently on the faculty at any of the seven state universities in the Minnesota State system, and are members of one or more equity caucuses, are eligible to apply.

Aside from demonstrating strong communication and community building skills, the successful candidate must have the ability to travel to all seven campuses and regularly attend IFO staff meetings (in person or remotely). Candidates with a strong and demonstrated background in social justice and equity work, race/ethnic studies, or related fields are preferred.
