Public Service Loan Forgiveness Info Session Recording and Materials

Earlier today, the IFO hosted an info session for faculty about the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. We were joined by two experts from Education Minnesota who broke down the process and answered a lot of questions. In 2021, the Biden administration announced a new temporary waiver process for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. The PSLF waiver may give you credit toward loan forgiveness for past federal student loan payments, even if those payments didn’t count before. That’s exciting news that could help you and hundreds of thousands of other borrowers finally get your federal loans forgiven. The deadline for the waiver process is approaching quickly, and we encourage all our members that believe they may qualify to begin the process as soon as possible.
