The results are in: IFO members have voted decisively to ratify the 2025-2027 IFO/MinnState contract settlement.

With 94% of votes in favor, our members have sent a clear and unified message. We are deeply grateful for the high level of faculty participation across all seven campuses—your engagement is our strength.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the negotiators and staff. Their tireless work, over many hours for months, developed a settlement that has now rightfully earned the overwhelming support of our membership.

Next Steps:
Now that the IFO membership has ratified the tentative agreement, the MinnState Board of Trustees is expected to vote to accept the settlement soon. As a reminder, the legislature no longer needs to approve the contract settlement. The contract would take effect upon the Minnesota State Board of Trustees' approval of the settlement.
